Welcome to Sage+Street. The terms "we", "us" and "our" refer to Sage+Street London Ltd, trading as Sage+Street.
Sage+Street London Ltd operates this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products and services, in order to provide you, the customer, with a curated shopping experience (the "Services"). Our online store is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.
These Terms of Service, together with the policies referenced within them, describe your rights and responsibilities when you use the Services.
Please read these Terms of Service carefully. By visiting, interacting with or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service or our Privacy Policy, you should not use or access our Services.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

By using our Services, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into a contract.

If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials and for activity carried out using your account.
SECTION 2 — OUR PRODUCTS
We make every reasonable effort to represent our products accurately in our online store.
However, colours and product appearance may vary slightly depending on your device, screen settings and photography. Our candles may also display minor variations associated with their materials and production.
These variations do not affect your statutory rights to receive goods that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described.
Product descriptions, availability and other product information may be updated from time to time.
We reserve the right to discontinue products and to limit quantities where reasonably necessary. All products are subject to availability.
SECTION 3 — ORDERS
When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the products in your basket.
After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation by email.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where a product is unavailable, an obvious pricing or listing error has occurred, payment cannot be authorised, or we reasonably suspect fraudulent activity.
If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, you will receive an appropriate refund.

Products purchased through our consumer store are intended for personal or household use and not for commercial resale unless otherwise agreed with us.
SECTION 4 — PRICES AND PAYMENT
Prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP).
Sage+Street London Ltd is not currently registered for VAT. Our prices therefore do not include a separately charged amount of VAT.
Delivery charges, where applicable, are displayed during checkout before you complete your purchase.
Prices, discounts and promotions may change from time to time. The price applicable to your purchase will be the price displayed when your order is placed, subject to the correction of obvious errors.
Payment must be successfully authorised before an order can be processed.
You agree to provide accurate and complete payment and billing information and confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method supplied.
SECTION 5 — SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
We currently ship to addresses within the United Kingdom only.
Available delivery methods, prices and estimated transit times are displayed at checkout and explained in our Shipping Policy.
Delivery times are estimates rather than guarantees.
Orders require processing before dispatch. Estimated transit times shown for a shipping service apply after dispatch unless expressly stated otherwise.
We are not responsible for delays caused by delivery carriers or circumstances outside our reasonable control. This does not affect any rights you have under applicable consumer law.
Where you are a consumer, goods remain at our risk until they are delivered to you or to another person identified by you to receive them.
SECTION 6 — RETURNS, REFUNDS AND CANCELLATION
Your rights to cancel an online order, return goods and receive refunds are explained in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
Nothing in these Terms or our Returns & Refunds Policy limits or excludes your statutory rights as a UK consumer.
SECTION 7 — CANDLE USE AND SAFETY
Our candles must be used in accordance with the safety information and instructions supplied with the product.
Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Keep burning candles away from children, pets, draughts, flammable materials and other sources of heat.
Place candles on a stable, heat-resistant surface and follow all product-specific burning and safety instructions.
Nothing in this section excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
SECTION 8 — INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The content of our Services, including the Sage+Street name and branding, text, photographs, graphics, product descriptions, videos, audio, designs and other original material, is owned by or licensed to Sage+Street London Ltd and may be protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
The Services are provided for your personal, non-commercial use.
You must not reproduce, distribute, modify, republish, commercially exploit or otherwise use our protected material without our prior permission, except where permitted by law.
Shopify's names, logos and other intellectual property belong to Shopify or its licensors.
All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
SECTION 9 — OPTIONAL TOOLS AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Our Services may provide access to tools, applications, payment services or functionality supplied by third parties.
Your use of third-party services may also be subject to the terms and privacy policies of those third parties.

Our online store is powered by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce technology used to operate our store.
However, purchases made from Sage+Street are made directly with Sage+Street London Ltd and not with Shopify.

Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.
Because our online store is powered by Shopify, certain personal information may also be processed by Shopify and other service providers used to operate our store, process payments, fulfil orders and provide our Services.

If you voluntarily submit a product review, photograph, comment, suggestion or other feedback to us, you confirm that you have the right to provide that material.

Where you submit content for publication, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce and display that content in connection with operating and promoting Sage+Street, subject to applicable law.

If an error affects an order you have already placed, we will contact you where appropriate.
If we cancel an order for which payment has already been taken, we will provide an appropriate refund.
